Marketing Manager

Position Summary: As our Marketing Manager, we need you to get the word out about how our platform is making it easier for owners and managers of commercial real estate to optimize their buildings’ performance. We’re already working with many of the biggest companies – yet we’re just scratching the surface of the opportunity before us. You will help create, execute and track marketing initiatives designed to accelerate our growth. With a focus on customer acquisition, you’ll help develop the segmentation and content strategy that fuels movement through the pipeline, from lead generation to conversion. In order to amplify our message, you’ll create integrated marketing communication programs across channels, strategically using advertising, website, online/digital, direct, social media and event marketing to reach and motivate target customers. You have the chance to be an integral member of a collaborative, driven and passionate team that is changing the game in commercial real estate.


Responsibilities:
  • Create and execute a lead nurturing system that helps identify, inspire and move target customers through the pipeline to close
  • Oversee direct marketing/database marketing campaigns from concept through deployment and measurement; ensure integration with sales CRM strategy
  • Create marketing collateral and other sales tools needed to support selling efforts; ensure adherence to brand guideline/message strategy
  • Within brand guidelines, manage the development of content and creative in order to execute the various marketing campaigns (ebooks, whitepapers, emails, digital ads, online/landing pages, etc.)
  • Work with the sales and client success teams to ensure we are effectively positioning products/services to differentiate in the market and providing the right tools to help them close deals
  • Leverage a broad mix of marketing programs to support brand awareness and demand creation goals including integrated multi-touch programs, event marketing, direct marketing, digital marketing and website/SEO strategies
  • Ensure brand messages and “look & feel” are consistent across marketing, sales, and product teams
  • Manage campaign execution against deadlines and within budget. Set appropriate success KPIs and track measurements within sales and marketing automation tools
  • Work with outside agencies and 3rd party support to ensure flawless execution of the “go to market” plan and support achievement of marketing and sales goals

Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of relevant marketing leadership experience with a career mix of startups and highly recognized B2B Enterprise and SaaS technology companies
  • An integrated marketing mindset, passion for storytelling through multiple media types, both visual and written, with sound experience in brand and creative strategy, and an excellent understanding of the interplay offline and online
  • Experience developing and executing metrics-driven strategic marketing programs that demonstrate aggressive business growth, capture of market share, and enhanced brand equity
  • Track record of product positioning and messaging targeting Enterprise and SaaS customers using a variety of communication methods that are concise, clear and engaging
  • Proficiency in media, social, experiential, advertising, content creation, and community marketing
  • Ability to work within tight deadlines, adjust to changes in priorities, and balance short-term needs with long-term strategic priorities
  • Proven ability to manage external organization of partners
  • A deep understanding of market research & analytics, SEO, marketing automation, CRM, mobile, website design best practice, and B2B sales / marketing software in general

Insurance Advisor

Position Summary: As our Insurance Advisor, we need you to assist in providing insurance assessments for our commercial real estate clients. Our expense analytics software platform is used by owners of commercial real estate portfolios across the U.S. – and we need you to help them to ensure they have the right insurance policies and procedures in place at the best cost. Therefore, in this advisory role, we are looking for an individual who possesses considerable expertise regarding insurance for the commercial real estate industry. Initially this will be a part-time position. It is fine to work remotely.


Responsibilities:
  • Assess client’s needs and clarify their business priorities
  • Identify client’s main risk issues and prioritize them in order of potential consequences
  • Uncover gaps in client’s corporate protection policies and procedures
  • Design plan for client that recommends solutions and coverage changes
  • Develop report for presentation to insurers, describing client’s desired coverage, limits and deductible levels


Qualifications:
  • 15+ years of experience in the insurance industry, including clients that are owners and managers of commercial real estate portfolios
  • In-depth knowledge of insurance products, the inner workings of insurance carriers and brokerage firms, and the insurance market throughout the U.S.
  • Expertise across all lines of insurance applicable to the commercial real estate industry
  • Experience in underwriting, conducting insurance audits, establishing policies and procedures, and servicing complex commercial insurance programs
  • Ability to quickly pinpoint exactly what commercial real estate owners need and why
  • Network of contacts throughout the U.S. insurance industry

Data Engineer

Position Summary: At Waypoint you have a fantastic opportunity to help us re-architect and develop our next generation product. We are looking to solve Big Data problems by using analytics to create benchmarks for the Commercial Real Estate industry. This will involve everything from diving into databases and tuning them to perform optimally, to defining, understanding and investigating real Data Science problems with our large repository of information.


Responsibilities:
  • Drive and define the core database storage technology to power our analytics platform
  • Build an effective ETL process that ensures the highest data quality for our customers
  • Architect a highly-scalable (horizontally and vertically) data storage platform key to our next generation analytics platform
  • Create, develop and maintain an efficient data warehouse that drives the delivery of analytics to our clients
  • Work on developing patents, journal and conference publications


Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience in a related field
  • Proficient in SQL, has worked with PostgresSQL, Oracle or Amazon Redshift
  • Proficient in developing efficient database schema
  • Proficient in Python or at least one other scripting language
  • Excellent communication, troubleshooting and problem solving skills
  • Excellent critical thinking and analytical problem solving abilities

QA Engineer

Position Summary: At Waypoint you have a fantastic opportunity to help create our next generation Big Data and Analytics product with a focus on quality and delivering value to our customers. We are looking to solve our customers expense management problems in the Commercial Real Estate industry. This will involve everything from working closely with our development team to ensure that we have the right testing and automation in place to ensure a quality product, to working with our Client Success team to help triage and resolve customer issues. It will also entail digging into our data pipeline to ensure we always have accurate data presented in our platform.


Responsibilities:
  • Develop and own the quality process for our platform and analytics
  • Create and monitor an effective automation framework to reduce the risk of regressions and test escapes
  • Work closely with our Development, Product Management and Client Success teams to ensure we have a high-quality product that meets our customers’ needs
  • Team up with DevOps to tie testing into our CI/CD infrastructure


Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience in a related field
  • Experience with Automation testing and frameworks
  • Experience with testing Web applications and APIs
  • Familiar with GUI testing using frameworks such as Selenium
  • Experience with using cross browser testing tools for automation such as Sauce Labs
  • Familiar with integrating system tests into a CI/CD infrastructure
  • Excellent communication, troubleshooting and problem solving skills
