Position Summary: Waypoint is looking for a proven marketing leader with 10+ years of experience with a mix of startup and recognized B2B SaaS experience who can help lead our team into the next phase of growth. This role will be responsible for driving demand for our smart asset management platform that enables owners and managers of commercial real estate to optimize their buildings’ performance and unlock hidden value. Based in our SF office and reporting to the CEO, the Director of Marketing will be responsible for leading, developing and growing all aspects of marketing with a focus on organic and acquired funnel activity, integrated sales and marketing programs, brand and product support.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop a comprehensive multichannel marketing strategy to support rapid growth
  • Oversee and execute strategy development and integrated marketing programs that contribute to our high growth goals, including demand generation, customer acquisition, launch of newly revised brand strategy, email marketing campaigns, content marketing strategy and leveraging digital/social channels, website redesign, content, industry events, social, advertising, PR, and more

Head of Sales

Employment Status: Full Time


Location: San Francisco, California

Position Summary: Waypoint is looking for a Head of Sales who can build a world-class enterprise sales culture based on discipline, process and a strong competitive spirit. This individual will be responsible for developing and executing the sales plan for Waypoint, set the sales culture within the company, build and develop the team, drive initial sales, and develop the sales playbook. The Head of Sales must also have the gravitas to close accounts themselves with prospective customers in the commercial real estate market and must be confident navigating complex enterprise sales with large financial institutions. Initially the Head of Sales will function in a “player-coach” role and evolve upon proven success as Waypoint grows.
The individual best-suited for this role should have a proven track record of selling in a new market category effectively in an enterprise start-up environment, and have confidence navigating complex enterprise sales with large financial institutions. This role will be responsible for working closely with the CEO and the rest of the management team to achieve high growth.


Responsibilities:
  • Own all top-line revenue; meet or exceed company sales targets and revenue forecasts
  • Must be able to individually close deals as well as run & manage the sales team
  • Must have knowledge of sales comp plan models for direct, inside and channel sales models
  • Define and refine a repeatable, predictable sales process
  • Develop a sales playbook and manage sales comp plans and targets
  • Coordinate, communicate, execute and manage a sales plan that meets and overachieves sales quotas

Client Success Associate

Position Summary: As Waypoint’s Client Success Associate you will empower our clients in the commercial real estate industry by delivering timely and actionable insights to reduce operating expenses, increase net operating income, and drive investor returns. This role is ideal for strategically-minded consultants and detail-oriented project managers who enjoy the challenge of solving complex problems with data-driven approaches and emerging new technologies.
You will manage relationships with multiple clients to achieve their desired business objectives with our platform, and dive deep into multiple data sources to answer to our clients’ toughest questions regarding their performance relative to the market. The individual filling this role must possess strong organizational, analytical, project management, and consulting skills in addition to demonstrating intellectual curiosity and tremendous attention to detail.


Responsibilities:
  • Proactively drive ongoing value for Waypoint’s clients by implementing our platform to meet their needs and adapting our solutions to their existing business processes
  • Understand the root desires behind our clients’ business objectives and strive to achieve their desired outcomes with our platform

Data QA Engineer

Position Summary: At Waypoint you have a fantastic opportunity to help us re-architect and develop our next generation product. We are looking to solve Big Data problems by using analytics to create benchmarks for the Commercial Real Estate industry. This will involve everything from diving into databases and tuning them to perform optimally, to defining, understanding and investigating real Data Science problems with our large repository of information. It will also be about ensuring timely delivery of high-quality data to our Enterprise clients.


Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with the Data and Client Success teams to ensure high quality and accurate customer data is delivered into our SaaS platform
  • Create and maintain an effective testing framework for our Data Analytics backend
  • Triage and report bugs throughout our data pipeline
  • Help build a next generation data processing pipeline and data warehouse to support our SaaS analytics platform
  • Ensure we have the right infrastructure in place to assist in meeting our data delivery SLAs


Qualifications:

QA Engineer

Position Summary: At Waypoint you have a fantastic opportunity to help create our next generation Big Data and Analytics product with a focus on quality and delivering value to our customers. We are looking to solve our customers expense management problems in the Commercial Real Estate industry. This will involve everything from working closely with our development team to ensure that we have the right testing and automation in place to ensure a quality product, to working with our Client Success team to help triage and resolve customer issues. It will also entail digging into our data pipeline to ensure we always have accurate data presented in our platform.


Responsibilities:
  • Develop and own the quality process for our platform and analytics
  • Create and monitor an effective automation framework to reduce the risk of regressions and test escapes
  • Work closely with our Development, Product Management and Client Success teams to ensure we have a high-quality product that meets our customers’ needs
  • Team up with DevOps to tie testing into our CI/CD infrastructure


Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience in a related field

Marketing Manager

Position Summary: As our Marketing Manager, we need you to get the word out about how our platform is making it easier for owners and managers of commercial real estate to optimize their buildings’ performance. We’re already working with many of the biggest companies – yet we’re just scratching the surface of the opportunity before us. You will help create, execute and track marketing initiatives designed to accelerate our growth. With a focus on customer acquisition, you’ll help develop the segmentation and content strategy that fuels movement through the pipeline, from lead generation to conversion. In order to amplify our message, you’ll create integrated marketing communication programs across channels, strategically using advertising, website, online/digital, direct, social media and event marketing to reach and motivate target customers. You have the chance to be an integral member of a collaborative, driven and passionate team that is changing the game in commercial real estate.


Responsibilities:
  • Create and execute a lead nurturing system that helps identify, inspire and move target customers through the pipeline to close
  • Oversee direct marketing/database marketing campaigns from concept through deployment and measurement; ensure integration with sales CRM strategy

Qualifications:
